Description

The study of thermal evolution is important for understanding the initial phases of differentiation and formation of metal rich bodies such as 16-Psyche. In this model we analysis the heat generation and thermal evolution of proto-psyche in early phases. This study includes the contribution of short lived radionuclides 26Al and 60Fe, as a significant heat source in early evolution. In addition of short lived radionuclide, the effect of accretion, sintering, porosity and differentiation also includes for determining the interior temperature changed with growth of proto psyche. In this model we use the heat conduction equation with explicit finite difference solution to determine the thermal evolution in early proto-Psyche.
